Graduate Success Stories

One of the most impactful aspects of my academic experience was the guidance of my academic advisor. His careful attention to selecting the right courses for each semester significantly contributed to my academic performance and overall success. His support and consistent follow-up helped me stay focused and confident throughout my studies.
Currently, I am pursuing a Diploma in Educational Qualification, which builds directly upon the strong foundation I received in my undergraduate program. The knowledge and skills I gained at Mazoon College have not only shaped my academic growth but also prepared me professionally for a future in education and beyond.”

One of the most defining aspects of my time there was the incredible support and dedication of my professors. Whether it was guiding me through complex theories, encouraging research initiatives, or simply being available for advice and mentorship, my professors consistently went above and beyond. They recognized each student’s individual potential and were always willing to invest time and effort in helping us grow.
What truly set Mazoon apart was its emphasis on holistic student development. During my final semester, the college facilitated an internship opportunity at Bank Muscat, one of the country’s leading financial institutions. This hands-on experience introduced me to the dynamic world of corporate structures, HR practices, and organizational development—an experience that was instrumental in shaping my decision to specialize in Human Resource Management.
Currently, I am proud to be a student at the University of Edinburgh. I am also working part-time as a Retail Assistant at Marie Curie, a leading UK charity that supports people with terminal illnesses. This role has further deepened my appreciation for service, empathy, and communication; values that were consistently encouraged at Mazoon College.
In addition, I am honored to serve as a Student Ambassador for the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR and people development in the UK. This position allows me to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice, and I credit Mazoon College for instilling in me the confidence to take on such leadership roles.
Reflecting on my journey, I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship, guidance, and opportunities provided by Mazoon College. The institution not only equipped me with a strong academic foundation but also supported my ambitions through real-world exposure, internships, and personal growth initiatives. Every achievement I am experiencing today whether in academia, part-time work, or professional networking, has roots in the encouragement and preparation I received at Mazoon.
To any student considering Mazoon College, I can confidently say that it is an institution committed to student success, not just within the classroom but far beyond it. It is a place where potential is nurtured, opportunities are abundant, and futures are shaped.”

The English Language Program was distinguished by its professors who spared no effort in giving us their knowledge and time, transforming each lecture into a journey of clear and practical knowledge. I left each class feeling that I had gained something new, not only academically, but also in my way of thinking. My academic advisor, (Dr. Daryoosh Hayati) , who I cannot thank enough for, played a major role in guiding me. He not only carefully selected the appropriate courses, but also always checked on me and supported me when I needed support. His presence has been a support and a guide to my continued progress . Now, as I move toward achieving my dream of earning a Diploma in Education to become a teacher, I feel I have a solid foundation thanks to what I learned at Mazoon College. This college was not just a place to study; it was a second home that taught me knowledge, patience, and the value of learning.
The skills I acquired here not only prepared me for my future career in education, but also for life in all its details.
My sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this wonderful journey.”

I don’t have a specific memory but I enjoyed every moment. I felt different. I’ve attended more than one college, but this is the first time I feel like I don’t want my college life to end. It’s a fun experience.”

experienced at the college. The dedication and cooperation of the faculty in delivering knowledge through
various methods made a big difference with me.We often worked together with my friends as a team on
MIS projects—facing challenges and celebrating achievements. I learned that success is not only
measured by grades but also by determination, collaboration, and continuous self-improvement.
I would like to share a quote that inspired me throughout my university journey: Technology is just a
tool, but it’s the creative minds that make the real difference.
Marwa Khalfan Habib Al Omairi

One of the most significant opportunities Mazoon College has provided me with is the foundation to pursue my master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Nottingham, UK. The valuable skills and knowledge I gained at Mazoon were essential to my success abroad, where I also had the chance to work as a teaching assistant—a role that further strengthened my academic and professional experience.
Returning to Oman and rejoining Mazoon College, this time as a lecturer, was a full-circle moment for me. It marked a significant turning point in my journey—from student to educator. While learning never truly ends, stepping into the classroom as a teacher allowed me to share my knowledge, grow through hands-on experiences, and support my students with the same care and inspiration I once received.
I will forever be grateful to Mazoon College and to all the educators who guided, supported, and believed in me. Their impact on my life is beyond words and I will carry their lessons with me always. I want to thank Mazoon College for being such a pivotal part of my journey.”
