General Overview
Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology helps you to understand employees and the workplace. Knowledge gained from this program help to identify competing needs and create healthy, productive and mutually stimulating relationships between employees and organizations.
Goal
To develop critical awareness and application of Psychological theories and principles to solve wide range of problems related to workplace.
Objectives
- To provide quality instruction at the graduate level related to industrial/organizational psychology which includes the wide range of psychological, management, and methods subjects found within this discipline.
- To ensure that students completing the MS requirements are able to demonstrate mastery of the various theories and research methods that are relevant to industrial/organizational psychology.
- To guarantee that students will be able to demonstrate mastery of the important concepts in selection, training, performance management, interpersonal processes, including group dynamics and employee attitudes and behaviors, and organization theory, including organizational development.
- To provide the proper venue for teaching students to think creatively and critically in resolving issues in the workforce related to industrial/organizational psychology.
- To ensure that students acquire the skills necessary to serve in modern society, and demonstrate professionalism, ethical behavior, and sensitivity when working with diverse workforces.
Minimum Eligibility
Bachelors in Psychology or related field, Business, Leadership, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or Supervision (student can apply for a graduate certificate in lieu of GRE) 2.5 GPA .
English language Proficiency Requirements: IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL of 79, or completion of bachelor’s degree from an institution whose language of instruction is English.
GRE: Completion of certificate program with all grades B or above constitutes fulfillment of GRE Requirement, or GRE testing scores which meet minimum requirements.
Admission Procedure
Selection for the program will be based on the academic records at the under graduate level and their English language proficiency. Candidate must complete the application process and attend an interview.
