Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Bachelor of Science in Psychology provides a solid and advanced level of understanding of human behaviour and mental processes in the field of mental health. This program is aimed to achieve an advanced level of understanding of psychology and its interdisciplinary fields to equip the learner to demonstrate the graduate attribute skills and dispositions such as analytical and critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills, research and clinical reasoning skills, professional and ethical attitudes ,environmental and interpersonal awareness, problem- solving and evaluation skills that enables graduates to develop awareness and commitment towards society. This four years program covers a wide range of courses like general psychology, life span development, cognition, learning, personality, motivation, intelligence, mental health, social psychology, abnormal psychology, clinical psychology, neuroscience, research methods, industrial psychology, statistics, information technology, language, cultural studies and fundamentals of management.

Program Objectives
The objectives of the Psychology program are:
- To provide learners an extensive understanding of the theories, principles and methodologies of various Psychology and interdisciplinary courses.
- To train the learners to apply and demonstrate specialized knowledge in various fields of Psychology such as educational, social, clinical ,industrial and community services.
- To equip the learners with adequate research and technical skills required in psychology and interrelated disciplines.
- To train learners to select and use the most appropriate information, and communication technologies to analyze and interpret the information.
- To enable learners to understand the values and ethics of Psychology discipline and profession for the welfare of the community.

- PLO2: Develop analytical and creative skills in applying and interpreting psychological concepts related to various specialized fields of Psychology.

- PLO6: Demonstrate the ability to learn independently and connect new knowledge to Psychology and its interdisciplinary fields.
