Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Major in Criminal Justice
Mazoon College, in view of its mission to address the higher education needs of the community is offering Bachelor Program in Sociology with a major in Criminal Justice. This program is prepared with the assistance from the Purdue University, North-West USA. This program will enable the graduates to apply knowledge related to criminal law, corrections, law enforcement and criminology as well as understand how criminal justice institutions are managed. Also, to develop the skills necessary to serve in modern society and demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior and sensitivity when working with workforce.

Program Objectives
The objectives of the Criminal Justices program are:
- To provide quality instruction in undergraduate level related to criminal justice courses that include the wide range of sociological and technical subjects found within this discipline.
- To ensure that students completing the Criminal Justice major requirements are able Display detailed knowledge of crime scene investigation and demonstrate knowledge of forensics by law enforcement agencies used in criminal investigationsto demonstrate mastery of the various theories and research methods that are relevant to criminal justice.
- To guarantee that students will be able to demonstrate mastery of the important concepts in criminal law, corrections, law enforcement and criminology as well as understand how criminal justice institutions are organized and managed.
- To provide proper venue for teaching students to think creatively and critically in resolving issues related to crime and criminal justice.
- To ensure that students acquire the skills necessary to serve in modern society and demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior and sensitivity when working with multicultural workforce.
- To provide internship opportunities to help prepare students for career success as well as for graduate school.

- PLO-2: Critically assess the various theories about crime, criminal behaviour and crime causation.
