A workshop titled “The Research Problem and the Objectives” was held on Sunday the 2nd of February 2020 at 2:30 pm in the room C304. The workshop was organized by the Humanities Department, the target audience were the final year Psychology students particularly the PSYCH390 (Undergraduate Project) students. The Workshop was delivered by Ms. Ayesha Anjum, lecturer in Psychology, and attended by Dr. Anica Dragovikj, Head of the Humanities Department, Ms. Nelia A. Basmayor, lecturer in Psychology and Ms. Sharon Jemima lecturer in Psychology.
The purpose of the workshop was to enhance the research knowledge of the students. The workshop delivered the basic ethics in research and how to choose the problem based on their interest. It was emphasized that the objectives should be clear, concise and achievable. The students were assigned in groups and were an activity to identify the research problem and frame objectives relevant to the problem. The students and teachers equally found the session informative and enriching.
